The Samoa Victim Support Group (SVSG) is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a series of events running from February to December 2025. Since its founding in 2005, SVSG has been a leading voice in protecting and empowering victims of violence and abuse, especially women and children, across Samoa.

To commemorate two decades of impact, SVSG will host a variety of inclusive events throughout the year, including:

  • Creative Competitions – Poster, poem, and speech contests for children, youth, and women, showcasing SVSG’s work in preventing violence.

  • Parades & Yellow Ribbon Outreach – Community-based activities symbolizing hope and support for survivors of gender-based violence.

  • Appreciation Forum – Honoring partners, volunteers, and supporters who have contributed to SVSG’s mission.

  • Nofotane Markets – Empowering Nofotane women and their families through economic opportunities.

  • SVSG Amazing Race – A fun-filled team challenge celebrating 20 years of service.

  • Fundraising Events – Supporting the growth and sustainability of SVSG’s vital services.

SVSG President Siliniu Lina Chang expressed heartfelt gratitude to all who have supported SVSG over the past 20 years. She invites past and present partners, volunteers, and community members to join the celebration and continue the journey toward a safer Samoa.

Unquestionably believe that that you stated. Your favorite reason appeared to be at the net the simplest factor to be aware of.
I say to you, I definitely get annoyed while other people consider issues that they just do not recognise
about. You controlled to hit the nail upon the highest
and outlined out the whole thing with no need side-effects , other people can take a
signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thanks
