Today, SVSG had the honour of meeting with Mr. Thomas Garrett and Mr. Adam King from the International Republican Institute (IRI). The meeting focused on IRI’s global mission to advance democracy through partnerships with civil society, government leaders, media, and academic institutions—particularly across the Pacific region.
SVSG is proud to be the first organisation in Samoa to engage directly with IRI on this important mission. It was a valuable opportunity to share our work in community empowerment and protection, and to explore how our efforts align with IRI’s goals for democratic development.
We sincerely thank Mr. Garrett and Mr. King for including Samoa in their regional visit. We look forward to potential collaborations that strengthen democratic values and promote inclusive growth throughout our region.
