Drug Awareness Training for SVSG Youth

The SVSG Youth were privileged to undergo a Drug Awareness Training facilitated by Superintendent Col Aumua, Head of the Community Division of the Samoa Police Force.

The purpose of this training is to ensure our youth are well-informed about the dangers of drugs, especially with the rise in crimes linked to substance abuse. While drugs pose serious risks to the future of young people, there are countless opportunities available for them to live healthy, meaningful, and productive lives.

This training equips the youth with the knowledge, understanding, and preventative measures necessary as they prepare to implement their Mental Health and Drug Awareness Programs across high schools in Upolu—following the successful completion of the same program in Savai’i.
