The Samoa Victim Support Group (SVSG) is grateful to the international, regional, government, development, corporate and community partners who contribute to our mission of preventing violence, protecting children, supporting victims and survivors, empowering women and strengthening communities across Samoa.
Our partnerships take many forms. They include programme and financial support, technical assistance, capacity building, volunteering, telecommunications and technology support, emergency and security cooperation, community engagement, knowledge-sharing and long-term collaboration.
We believe that meaningful and sustainable change is achieved when international support is connected to strong local leadership, community participation and culturally relevant solutions.
The United Nations Children's Fund supports the rights, protection, wellbeing and development of children. UNICEF has a field office in Samoa and works with national partners across the Pacific.
UNDP has worked with SVSG through initiatives including the Spotlight Initiative, supporting violence prevention, essential services, the 24-hour helpline and responses to gender-based violence. UNDP has documented the partnership and its contribution to SVSG's helpline and community services.
UN Women works globally and in Samoa on gender equality, women's empowerment and ending violence against women and girls. Its Samoa programme includes work on ending violence against women and women's economic empowerment.
The UN Trust Fund supports civil society organisations working to prevent and eliminate violence against women and girls.
ECPAT International is a global network working to end the sexual exploitation of children. SVSG joined the ECPAT network as a member in 2013..
LifeLine International is a global network supporting crisis support and suicide prevention services. SVSG became a member in 2024, reflecting its operation of Samoa's 24-hour toll-free crisis helpline.
World Vision is an international humanitarian and development organisation working with children, families and communities.
Australia and Samoa maintain a broad development and security partnership. DFAT's Samoa programme includes development cooperation, gender equality, social inclusion and security cooperation.
New Zealand is a longstanding development and Pacific partner of Samoa.
Canada supports development and civil society initiatives in Samoa and the wider Pacific.
The European Union and Samoa cooperate on development, human rights and other shared priorities. The EU has also been a major partner in initiatives addressing violence against women and girls through the Spotlight Initiative.
Japan has a longstanding development cooperation relationship with Samoa. JICA has operated in Samoa for decades, including through technical cooperation and volunteers.

Its work includes gender, disability, social inclusion, health, education and community development, with services including technical assistance, research, partnership brokering, capacity building and grants.
VSA is Aotearoa New Zealand's international volunteering organisation, working with local partners across the Pacific. VSA has a longstanding relationship with Samoa dating back to 1963 and maintains an office in Apia.
Pacific Forum Line and its PFL Foundation support community initiatives across the Pacific. PFL specifically identifies SVSG as one of its primary causes and confirms an annual donation as well as volunteer support for the Campus of Hope.
